Deeply committed to environmental sustainability, Katie is passionate about salvaging building materials from landfills and advocates for a societal shift toward reusing and repurposing materials rather than buying new. Following her graduation, Katie plans to attend medical school, where she aims to combine her scientific knowledge with her dedication to environmental stewardship.
